The State of Wisconsin is seeking qualified individuals for challenging positions as accountants, auditors, or financial examiners. More than 25 State of Wisconsin agencies use a central recruiting process called the Entry Level Professional Accountant and Auditor (ELPA) program. This program utilizes an easy application process to develop a list of qualified candidates. This list is available to all State agencies to use in their recruiting efforts. Simply put, you need only apply once to be considered for all of the accountant, auditor, and financial examiner positions.

The State of Wisconsin offers a wide range of work assignments within a professional, yet comfortable work atmosphere. Many opportunities for advancement are available. Most positions will qualify an individual for the experience portion of the Certified Public Accountant certification. In addition, the State of Wisconsin offers a very comprehensive benefit package.
